Biography

Stan’s career at Sassoon was kick started when he joined the South Molton Street salon in London as an apprentice in 1986. Taking the opportunity to relocate to Manchester following his intense 3 year apprenticeship was the perfect platform to develop his skills whilst building a clientele. Stan moved into full-time education in 1996 at Sassoon Academy, London.

Teaching within all areas of the London Academy eventually led to the roles of Head of Diploma, Staff Training Coordinator & ultimately Creative Director. As a member of the Sassoon Creative Team, Stan has delivered education through shows, seminars & classrooms around the globe.

In 2004 Stan moved from Sassoon to work with other top creative education teams in the UK. The following 9 years gave him a depth into the industry as a whole, and a great perspective to how a salon and academy grow from the roots up.
